Jerry Lee Lewis kisses his new wife,

Myra Gale Brown, accompanied by his sister Jean as they arrive at Idlewild Airport in New York City on May 28, 1958. 

Earlier in London, Myra, who was 13 years old and Lewis’s third cousin, revealed their secret marriage. Lewis married Myra before his divorce from his second wife was final. Many of Lewis’s engagements in Great Britain were canceled as a result of the scandal.
